God the creator, the one who created the human race, the one who protects us from the evil forces and the one who takes us to heaven when our short stay here is over .In return we earthlings are supposed to pray him, offer him flowers and valuables and obey his commands passed on to us from our ancestors. This is not the end. The existence and influence of God over us just begins here. Many have questioned the existence of God in vain. Our insecurities, diseases and other troubles that catch hold of us when we least expect, only strengthened our belief in the ever eluding God.

When no- one to turn to we look at him for guidance. We blame him for our miseries and praise him for our blessings. Yet he never appeared to any of us. We lived on the stories told to us by the prophets and self proclaimed sons of God. We prayed these self proclaimed human Gods in the absence of the real one. When we questioned about the absence of the real thing, they asked us another question. “Can you see air? But it is here all around”. This question and the answer was more than enough to douse our curiosity for the rest of our lives. Any way we poor human’s will live only upto a hundred. The next generation made the same mistakes and asked the same questions, and the curiosity only to be doused by the agents of the Human God. It was always better to believe in God. Other wise the punishment is siviour. When he comes from the clouds, being left out, we could not even imagine that. For many of us there was no need to live upto the judgement day, the agents of God who represented the churches, mosques and the temples were ever willing to hand out the punishment.
Yet some dared to question. If not for them we still would have lived in a flat earth, the centre of the universe, revolved around by the stars including our beloved Sun.
This is 21st century. People are educated; there is freedom of expression in a level we never before enjoyed . Whether God exists or not, everyone has a right to define their God. Religions should only play a silent role of guiding people, who needs their guidance. Religion has no right to control the individual. The self interest of religious leaders should not interfere with the personal freedom of an individual. As long as an individual shows socially acceptable behaviour religions should take a back seat. Religions should not be dictating, how a person should live, dress and behave. But they can always provide guidelines for those who want to follow the path, but without any pressure and force.
Humble Tom believes that God is a divine power, who created all the living creature of the earth. When he created he created them with the power to evolve. And not that everything evolved from nothing. Every one has a connection to the creator and has a responsibility to make this place liveable for our fellow inhabitants. We can contribute and set an example for the coming generations to make their life easier. When something is created , some thing is expected of the creation. The duty, the duty towards the creator, duty towards the purpose of the creation and the duty towards the surroundings where we flourish. As long as a human being is aware of that God can remain elusive and Sons of God can go to hell.
